September Reports Part 2

Before I talk about the remaining betting services I want to mention Betfair Trading Expert. I had hoped to start reviewing this service a few weeks ago but a technical issue meant I had to put it on hold. Thanks to the assistance of Michael we will now get it up and running and the results will be published daily. I did use this service for approximately 6 months and stopped it earlier this year as my trading moved from the standard lay the draw to other in play opportunities. I'm aware a lot of you use the standard LTD method and this review will give everyone a chance to see how it performs and hopefully help in making a decision on whether it is or is not for you. In recent weeks I've also been asked to review FTS but I have not followed this service for some time now and unless one of you are willing to record the results on a daily basis I will not be looking to review it. Ideally if both of the above published their results it would make life easy for us but for some reason they don't and a proper live review is the only way to determine their performance.

A very good opening month on the NFL season for this service with just over 7 points profit achieved. Last weekend was the best so far with 100% return from all bets advised. Included in their weekend wins was an 11/2 treble and that is their 2nd winning treble in a row. Last year this service achieved 4.87 points profit from the NFL season but if they keep up this current performance the profit will surely be much higher. For more information on this service including the American sports they specialise in click here.

Last week was the start of this service for me and it ended with a 1/4 point loss between the two match days. As previously mentioned this is all about Champions League matches and you can expect to receive bets on teams to win, top goal scorers, corners, bookings etc. One of my favourites from last season and certainly made Tuesday's and Wednesday's very enjoyable. A slow start so far but a long way to go for sure. For more information click here

An ok start for this service which only focuses on the Premier League. 2 points profit in the first month from their various range of bets which are very similar to those from Champions League Bet. One weekend alone they hit 9 winning bets out of 10. The more we get into the season the more this service starts to take off as their selections are solely based on stats and I hope they begin to climb the profit ladder this month.

For the month of September BBA had 26 bets of which 9 won, 16 lost and 1 stake returned. Not a great performance from so many selections and that amounted to a loss of 2.73 points. Year to date they stand at a profit of 3.28 points. Their bets vary on a wide number of sports from soccer, rugby, tennis, golf etc. Hopefully the last few months of the year will see a rise in profits!

I mentioned last week that I was going to start using this football betting service again. My bets are 5% of an initial €1,000 bank and after week 1 that bank has taken a slight knock. I started on Tuesday September 27th and from that day to Sunday October 2nd there was 6 selections. Out of those 6 just 2 won and a loss of €120.59 was taken. Would have preferred a better start to my first week but one week does not determine the success of anything and I will wait to see how it performs over the weeks ahead.

Golf Guru

The returns from the golf Guru were hitting rock bottom over the last few weeks and for a while last Sunday I thought this was going to bounce right up again. The main selection was Rory McIlroy who led by 1 stroke going into the closing holes but had to settle for 2nd place unfortunately to give us just the place returns. Still waiting for that big win to happen and hopefully it's around the corner! Year to date the service is now at 7 points profit.

There you go that's all the various services covered and an overview of how they performed recently and in some cases year to date figures. Like most weeks i will give a summary of everything and then at the end of each month do a run down of how everything performed be it good or bad.

September Reports Part 1

A new month is upon us and we're now into the full swing of things on the European leagues with form starting to build and ultimately favourable results. Like many of you I'm now beginning to get excited as we enter the knock out stages of the rugby world cup and what a line up of games we have in store this weekend. Two 6 Nations clashes on Saturday and the guarantee of one northern hemisphere team in the final makes the next 3 weekends unmissable for all rugby fans. Being Irish I hope it goes one way!!

Below I have a run down of a number of services and their performance to date.

A good week overall with just under 5 points profit achieved. Across the week there was a total of 13 in play trades and out of those 11 were profitable. As I mentioned last week I've broadened the service to include trading opportunities on other sports and we got to take advantage of some decent moves in the Champions League Twenty20 cricket games last week. Cricket markets is something I've been watching for a while now and they can offer excellent trading moves. We currently have an open trade on the rugby world cup which will ultimately be decided this weekend and I've got my eye on a couple of other events that may have the potential to turn around a few quid in the coming weeks. Overall just under 2 points profit for the first month and I will be aiming to improve on that this month.

You can view the full results to date through here

I get a lot of emails asking for more information on the TFT package. I did write in detail about it a few weeks ago and you can read that here. I can also add a bit more to my views on it as I use some of their strategies most days. I will say their pre match trading strategy is probably the best bit of advice I have ever had. In one of my emails to my trading service members last week I said how it is not inconcievable to make at least €100/£100 from pre match trading as long as you have done the research to find appropiate games. Last week I managed to lock in €130 on the Arsenal v Olympiakos game before it kicked off following the same strategy outlined in one of the manuals. The more you have to invest the greater the returns obviously but even using €100 stakes can make as much as €10 per games and if you can find 7-10 games per week that all adds up. The beauty of these trades is that your full liability is never at stake so if you trade with €100 the most you're likely to lose is €3 to €5. I've not had a chance to try out some of the other trading strategies but I know one or two who are and I've seen some good reports and long may that continue. You will find further information on the website here

I had one tricky game at the weekend and that was Fulham. Those of you with the system know why and I had a lot of work to do to claw back my liability. Thankfully I did and it was another profitable weekend with ASP. €62.38 earned overall and that now takes my running total to €364.56.

After a double hit mid September Ady finished September minus 3.85 points. It was a very quiet week for him last week with no selections qualifying however a banker 2 point lay was successful yesterday to start off the month on a good note.

I've now reached the end of my 3 month review of this service and while it has experienced some poor runs it has managed to pull back on all occasions. I know Simon puts a lot of time and effort into his service and is extremely professional to deal with. There's not a lot of services that can claim 136 profits for the first 9 months of the year particurarly horse laying ones at that. September ended with a loss of 1/2 point but in the last week alone it achieved 15 points profit overall. I'm going to take this service on myself. I already use Adys Lay Of The Day and having two horse laying services in my portfolio is plenty. My opinion after three months is this looks like a service that can deliver profits long term. It will have and has had bad days but if my acceptance to include it in my own portfolio is anything to go by you can take from it that I am giving it a thumbs up.

Today is the last day for the £5 first month subscription offer and if you too are interested in this service you can join here

Tradernomics

I've been really drawn to the guys running this football betting service. They are extremely focussed on what they do and while I questioned some of their bets a couple of weeks ago the fact is they are making money and that's all that matters. To quote a recent email exchange with them in which they said 'It's our opinion if you want to make money from football betting than you have to break away from the convention'. That statement is so true. Last week how many people had Man Utd down as a banker win in that 3-3 Champions League encounter? I have great confidence in this service and having seen it now for 6 weeks or so can recommend it as an addition to any portfolio. The minimum profit they set out to achieve each month is 6 points. Anything less than that and they return the monthly subscription. That's a good testimonial in my book. Overall they are 8.91 points ahead and out of that 5.12 for October.

At present they have 8 spaces left for this month. If any of you are interested drop me an email and I will ask the guys to get in touch with you to set up your membership.

That's all for today. I'll be back tomorrow with updates on the other services including Champions League Bet, Bet Bank Alerts, Football Betting Data, Sports Bet USA, Football Bets Direct & the Golf Guru.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

Regards,

Betting/Trading News

In the last two weeks I've expanded my service to include more sports trading and pre match trading. So far members have experienced 100% success in these new trading opportunities. I advise using €100/£100 stakes on the sports trades and pre match trades and the returns have been very positive. I myself use higher stakes and aim to make a minimum of €100 profit on market movements. An example of a non football trade was on last weekends Solheim Cup. I advised members that while USA justified favouritism their price of 1.5 was one to take advantage of. Day 1 of the tournament provided us all with our trading opportunity when USA drifted out to 2.3 which led to guaranteed profit regardless of the result 2 days later. Yesterday I also provided advice on the Champions League Twenty20 cricket and that too was profitable. More and more of my time is now researching how we can make money on not just football but other sports and indeed profiting from market swings pre kick off. My standard systems have been up and down with results varying. Sunday afternoon was frustrating when three Seria A games failed to provide goals and that was the first time a single league let me down in that way at the one time. We have a long way to go with only a few weeks in and so far the service is running at a 3 point loss. I've got a potential rugby trade ready to go out to everyone and if that goes in the direction I think it will we could be setting up very decent profit in the weeks ahead. The results of the service are up to date and can be viewed here

I've been very selective in the last number of weeks with my Assured Soccer Profits selections. Up to Sunday I had not hit a 0-0 in some time but managed to find two that day! I'm happy if I find 5 or 6 good profitable games per week with ASP as I want to protect my profit in the long run. I have a target of €2,000 for this season and I'm certainly on my monthly target so far. My running total is now at €302.18 and while there are a number of games on tonight I will refrain from choosing any to use the system on.

Adys Lay Of The Day has turned round the mid month loss and produced 3 winning lays in a row. So far since May 1st the service is just under 15 points in profit. The average lay price is 5.25 and Ady provides an average of 9 lays per month. You can see an up to date results report here

The Killer Instinct service has as previously reported had it's ups and downs during the review. Similar to Ady the average lay price is 5.32 but you can expect a greater amount of selections. July & August produced an average of 134 selections per month. From January - August the overall profit stands at 131 points and I have detailed the monthly breakdown on the blog which you can see here. Laying horses is not everyone 's cup of tea but if you have the mindset to understand the swings involved it can be very profitable. I do not have the full run down of September results due to my time being taken up with my own trading but will do so when the month is over. In the meantime if any of you are interested in seeing how this service operates then you can take advantage of an offer that is available for one week only. Simon has reduced the price for your first months membership to just £5. To join click here

Starting from this week I am going to start following Football Bets Direct. Some of you will remember I had this service in my portfolio last season but stopped using it in February of this year as the results were poor. I've been monitoring Neils results of late and I'm happy to set aside a bank to give this service another go. Basically it is a straight forward football betting service where you will receive the selections each day to back. There are two staking methods. One is the A, B, C strategy where you decide what profit you want to achieve per game. If it's €100 you will stake the appropriate amount to achieve that profit. If that selections loses you will then move onto a B bet. This is where you place your stake to win €100 plus the loss from the previous bet etc etc. The other staking method is where you stake 5% of your bank. I will use the 5% method and my bank for this is €1,000. Therefore on tonight's selection I will stake €50. I will open a page on the blog to record the results for you all to see and hopefully the recent good performance from this service will be a sign of things to come. Should you wish to read more about this service click here

Today I am going to start backing the selections from Champions League Bet. I mentioned a couple of weeks ago they finished last season with over 20 points profit and now that a bit of form is starting to appear I'm happy to invest my money. The selections from this service range from number of corners, cards, goals and outright wins. It makes Tuesday & Wednesday night very enjoyable!

The same approach applies to Sports Bet USA this week. I wanted to see how they started and so far it's been good and with the NFL now in full swing I'll be also putting my money on their advice from this week onwards.

That's it for the moment. I'll be back again with updates on how everything is going. Should you wish to read what is in my betting portfolio you can do so through here

Trading News

It's been a very interesting 4 days since I last wrote. Last Friday's broadcast in which I spoke about my views of football trading was agreed by so many. I received so many emails from people sharing their trading experiences and it was quite alarming to read how so many have lost their complete trading banks by laying the draw pre kick off and waiting to trade out on a goal being scored. Some were trading their own games while others were going on the advice of others but the overwhelming theme was that a lot were getting stung by laying between 4/1 & 5/1 and ultimately waiting for the goal that never arrived. However, it's very comforting to read that quite a few of you have been successful in making continuous money from trading and my advice would be to make sure you always have the mindset that your trading is a business and to treat it like that.

Over the past few days I've had a mixed bag of trading experiences with some being the most enjoyable and rewarding in years. My football system selections underperformed over the weekend but it was pleasing to see profit again last night. As I lay at low odds I don't expect to win every game I enter and when I lose I can accept it. Of course I'm disappointed when a day ends up in negative figures but I'm extremely disciplined and know once I keep focused and maintain my research that the season will be profitable overall. While the majority of my time is spent researching games that fall into my selection criteria for both systems I also look for other trading opportunities.

At the weekend and indeed today my trading members got to see first hand how we can easily make money from taking advantage of certain markets. The first was on Sunday in the All Ireland Final between Kerry & Dublin. For those outside Ireland this was the biggest game of the year in our Gaelic Games Football Championship. Some of you may remember I tipped Dublin last May and recommended a 2 point win which they duly delivered much to the joy of many of you who took my advice. My observation of the match & outright winner markets was that Kerry's odds was too low and this would certainly present us with a decent trade in running. We didn't have to wait too long for that to happen and just before 1/2 time their odds drifted enough to lock in profits. The next advised trading opportunity was on Justin Rose in the BMW Championship who was trading at 1.51 before his 4th round. A bogey on the 1st hole sent his odds to 1.8 and another profitable trade was delivered. Finally last night I was amazed to see Villareal trading as low as 1.69 against Mallorca tonight. My feelings were that they should at least be around 1.9 based on their recent form and advised members to lay at 1.69 and wait overnight to see would their odds increase to trade out. As expected they did and 11 hours before kick off I traded out at 1.84 to secure €100 profit regardless of the result. I know others took profit from 1.74 up to 1.80. The reason I share these with you all is because there are opportunities like this every day once you do your homework and know what to look out for. What happens a lot of times is an over reaction to a certain team and that drives their price down. This is normally from silly punters who tend to just lump on without any thoughts on form, team selections, price etc. When this happens I have to get involved and it may not work 100% of the time but once I have my stop loss in place it will be profitable in the long run. These type of opportunities will at all times be shared with members of my trading service and I'll report them on the results page to stakes of €100. To catch up on the latest results click here

We've now reached the end of the trials and I hope over the past 4 months you were able to determine what the various services offer, type of bets, results, returns etc. We got a good finish to the Football Betting Data trial last weekend with 9 winning bets out of 10.

I'm finding it difficult at the moment to get time to catch up on all of the results from the various services I'm reviewing but I will get there. However I can say that The Killer Instinct is still up and down with clean sweep of profit one day and a loss the next. However it is still showing positive figures and since mid July is €868 up using €100 stakes. I'm not really sure what to make of Tradernomics. They are currently running at a total profit of 5 points since the start of the service and just over 7 points in September. The reason I say I'm not sure about it is the choice of selections. On one day last month they advised a bet on each Premiership game ending 2-2. That didn't happen but last Sunday they did the same again and it worked out with Fulham v Man City ending 2-2. That returned 10 points profit and this brought them back in profit. Profit is profit so I'm not giving out but I'm just not 100% sold yet on their type of selections however it's very early days and I know the three guys involved are highly determined to make everyone money. One thing I will say is that they stick to their word and last month refunded everyone their subscription as the service failed to make profit on the month. The Golf Guru has been extremely disappointing over the past few weeks and with not long left in the season I'll be hoping to protect my golf bank in that time. We've been so unlucky over the last while not to cash in some big wins but that's golf and it changes so much especially on the final day. I will report on everything else over the coming week.

For those of you interested I've now published my trading/betting portfolio with a description of each. You can find that here.

The next step for me is to open another page with details on services I have reviewed recently or indeed used in the past and details on how they performed with my overall rating. This I hope to do very soon and will let you all know when that happens.

Until next time I wish you all the very best.

Regards,

Paul.
